About Us
In 1988, Debbie Dorsey opened The Frame Corner in a small building on what is now the Mt. Juliet library parking lot. She built the shop on a simple idea: that the things people choose to frame, such as a wedding photo, a child's first drawing, a diploma, or a jersey, deserve to be handled with care and craftsmanship.
Our Story
In 1996, the shop moved to its current location on N. Mt. Juliet Rd., where it's called home ever since. For nearly four decades, Debbie was a familiar face in the community. The kind of business owner who knew her customers by name and treated every project like it mattered, because to the person bringing it in, it always did.

I'm Alex, Debbie's daughter, and I grew up in this shop working alongside my mom. Some of my earliest memories are of sitting behind the counter after school, surrounded by mat board scraps and the smell of fresh-cut wood, watching my mom in her creative element. I learned to frame things before I learned to drive.
Our Mission
My mom ran The Frame Corner with pride until her passing in the spring of 2026. Since then, I've taken over the counter she stood behind for so many years, and I couldn't be prouder to carry on what she started.

I'm not doing it alone. Jenna Eames is behind the counter with me, the one who truly holds things together—and without her, keeping this place running the way my mom would want it wouldn't be possible.

The name on the door hasn't changed. Neither has the care that goes into every frame that leaves this shop. I'm honored to carry on the legacy my mom started, continuing the same care, craftsmanship, and personal service she was known for. It's one I intend to keep going for a long time to come.

From the mats and glass to the mouldings themselves, we use materials that are built to last. We won’t sell you something that will fade, warp, or fall apart in a few years just to save a few dollars. What goes on your wall should stay looking great.
